Love After All

Sometimes the man of your dreams becomes a nightmare.

Love After All

Even though Danielle knows that Todd Hardaway is the man of her parents’ dreams, her heart feels empty.  Then she meets the idealistic and attractive Carson Turner, and she feels a flicker of something that might be love.  But her cold, dictatorial boss is Carson’s father, which makes Danielle wonder if a relationship between them is even possible.

Carson has spent his life trying to please his father, while at the same time blaming him for his mother’s death.  He knows his father wants him to take over Turner Consulting, but Carson would rather save lives than save a buck.  His decision to go to medical school shatters his already fragile relationship with his father.  How can Carson heal others if he is haunted by the painful wound in his own heart?

Love After All. . . a remarkable and tender story of a woman’s selfless service and its power to heal those around her.

Author’s notes:

This book was a blast.  Danielle has the kind of spunk and confidence I love in a woman.  She’s strong, yet vulnerable.  She’s not afraid to try something, especially when she believes in what she’s doing.  And she speaks her mind.  I love that!

Her character and the others in, Love After All, were so fun to work with.  They made me laugh out loud at times and brought tears to my eyes, too.  I think the end of the book is one of the sweetest moments I’ve experienced in my writing.  When hearts are mended, the past is forgiven and forgotten, and love conquers all, you can’t go wrong.  This is a story of healing and serving.  What we do for others, how we help, how we serve, is really what this life is all about.  This is the story of one woman learning this for herself and seeing the power it has in other people’s lives.  If we could all grasp this wonderful concept, how much better our world would be.  I hope you love this story.  I know I do.
