Surprise! I actually have a new book coming out (please, don’t fall out of
your chairs in shock). I apologize it has taken so long. As most
mothers, it is a struggle to find a balance between family, callings and
interests. Having the extremely busy family I have, I tend to devote most
of my time to them, but I finally squeezed in some writing and
“A Modest Proposal” will be released in time for Mother’s
Day, 2008. It is the first book in my series called,
“The Butterfly Box.”
I am so excited about this series. There will be five books in this series
and I know you are going to become very attached to the women in these stories.
It is based on the lives of five women who have been friends since college, some
of them even since grade school. The series will follow these women through
life’s joys and heartaches, thrills and trials.
At
Christmas, “Spirit of
Christmas: Stories of the Season” will be released. It is a
collection of stories written by Jennie Hansen, Betsy Brannon Green and myself.
As you can tell by my books, I love the Christmas season and am so thrilled to
be included in this book with two of my dearest friends.
Next for me will be the release of the next book in my series and hopefully the
sequels to other books that I’ve said I was going to write, but haven’t.
(If you’re getting frustrated, you’re not alone! I am kicking it into high
gear, I promise) I want to write a sequel to
Without a Flaw, Finding
As
I mentioned before two of my books, Written in the Stars and Love After All have
both gone out of print so they will be difficult to find in retail stores. I do,
however, have plenty here at my home and if anyone is interested in getting an
autographed copy of either or both, I would be happy to sell them and send them
to you.
